Keeping You Up To Date With The Progress Of Our Development At The Horse Facility
|
Since Bob and Barb purchased the property the Corona Vista Equine Center has been slowly taking shape. Just this spring of 2010 we have added several large paddocks on the front of the property as well as putting in a small rehabitation corral with pea rock. A conference room is gradually being constructed as we want many of the rooms in the facility to be an educational area for horse owners, trimmers and veterinarians to learn and teach others about the foot and the rest of the horse. Several inside areas are under construction as well as we are trying to develop our outside track for the horses; the track is a 10-15 yard wide course around the 30 acres so the horses can enjoy varying scenery of the property as well as quiet and peaceful times under the large elm trees at the far perimeter of the acreage! Slowly the property is being transformed from a big shed on the side of the road to a first class horse boarding and research center.

Post hole by post hole the fence line of the paradise walking track has been slowly appearing across the Michigan landscape.
There has been more than one long work day put in to erecting the entire fence line around the property. The fence cleverly matching the undulating landscape in its horizontal layout is planned to be entirely electric to be more horse friendly.

| The first of the horse shelters is becoming recognizable in the paddock housing our full time boarding horses. Although there seemed to be some minor disagreements in the initial design and plotting stages of creation (the laid back Aussie "She'll be right Mate" motto comes head to head with Dr. Bowker's Phd 'Randomised Support Structure System' )but by the time the wall braces were going up everything seemed to be turning out just fine!
