You can bring your horse to Corona Vista for lameness diagnosis, treatment and rehab. We offer trimming, radiographs, blood work and lameness evaluation on site. Tara also travels to provide rehab and maintenance trimming as well as owner education, bringing her six years of hoof care experience to horses in the local area.
Tara began her barefoot journey when Zorro - the shod Endurance horse of the herd, became increasingly lame and was eventually diagnosed with Navicular Syndrome. After many months spent searching unsuccessfully for a proficient trimmer, and a whole library of books later, Tara began to learn to trim herself. This is when the 'Hoof Bug' really took hold, taking her around Australia and across the globe to mentor with the leading hoof care professionals, and into the Australian Outback to learn from the Wild Brumbies, fortifying her strong belief that the horse is truly our greatest teacher.
This learning led to a large client base developing across Victoria/NSW and then sharing that knowledge and experience with others through lessons and workshops in Australia, the UK and France. If you are interested in Trimming, Hosting or Attending a Workshop please contact Tara.
